Keynote Speaker

Scott Nevins has been a part of the Talent Acquisition profession for almost 20 years. He has worked with companies ranging from “Mom & Pop Shops” through the Fortune “1” – helping organizations find talent and improve their recruitment processes. Further, he helps candidates find opportunities for skills development and economic growth in their new roles.

Scott is currently a consultant working with several Fortune 500 organizations on a number of fronts, including long term strategy development, organization design/management, skill upgrading, budget planning, and technology modernization (including Artificial Intelligence). Prior to this, he had several positions at Monster.com – a technology and media organization, including head of Global Talent Acquisition, HR Project Management Leader for Integration, and a Sr. Leader in their Talent Fusion program - whose purpose is to augment talent acquisition activities on behalf of over 1000 clients.

Scott came to recruitment accidentally – nobody entering college dreams one day they’ll be a recruiter - and found a career that utilized a great many of his skills and education. Rhetoric, Education Theory, Literary Analysis, Customer Service – all tools that have aided in his career.

Finally Scott is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He has applied this capability in many ways: helping companies improve the quality of their talent acquisition practices, reducing non-value add activities felt by candidates, and boring friends and family with statistical analysis and spreadsheets.
