Demystifying The Resume: A Path to Success

Breakout Session Presenter

Brian Frenette has worked in career services for over 10 years and currently serves as Senior Associate Director of Graduate and Postdoctoral Career Services in the Office of Career Strategy at Yale University.  In his current role, he works with graduate students and postdocs seeking non-academic careers.  This is his second role within the Office of Career Strategy, as he previously worked with Yale undergraduates focused on careers in engineering.  Before coming to Yale, Brian managed the Field Experience Program through the career services office at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and oversaw the on-campus recruiting program at Wesleyan University’s career resource center.  He has also served as an adjunct instructor at the University of New Haven (Sociology) and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (Communications).  He is a current member of the National Association of Colleges & Employers, the Graduate Career Consortium, and the Connecticut Cooperative Education & Internship Association.
